Grant program to send kids to Jewish overnight camps

March 24, 2010

The Foundation for Jewish Camp offers a very generous grant program for summer camp and asked me to help get the word out. Here’s information on the program.  Some of the qualifying Jewish camps are featured on Sign up For Camp

Get Up To $2500 For Camp! The JWest Campership Program seeks to increase the number of Jewish youth in the Western United States enrolled in Jewish overnight summer camps.  Now in its third year, the JWest Campership Program awards financial incentives of up to $2,500 over two or three years to middle schoolers who attend one of 23 nonprofit Jewish overnight camps for the first time.  Campers must reside in one of thirteen designated Western states.  Funded by the generous support of the Jim Joseph Foundation, JWest is an initiative through the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
